Welcome to Literature in Review. Literature in Review is a site/blog devoted to the intelligent discussion and criticism of literature–writing in the broadest sense–from recent articles in the media to musings about obscure authors. While Literature in Review is for the moment an individual effort, I am eager to find good writing produced by others as well. If you’d like to comment, or send me an essay, or even a good poem, I would be happy to consider it for publication on the site.I am the author of the poetry chapbook The Architects’ Anticipation (Revisions Press, 2006). I have a full-length collection entitled Unnecessary Noise Prohibited in manuscript and still looking for a publisher. Examples of my poetry can be seen here and here.
In my other life I’m an English professor.

Hello,
You had recently written me regarding a piece after you came to see my demonstration at the Japan Foundation last Saturday.
Unfortunately, with some problems with the webmail, I had lost a e-mails, and yours happened to be one of them! I searched EVERYWHERE for it, and finally, here I am, trying to get a hold of you!
It would be great to get together to discuss what you are interested in. My schedule for January is quite busy, but if you let me know your schedule, maybe we could arrange something. If not, there are ofcourse other options.
yours,
